At first I wasn’t looking forward to getting the Klim Vector Pants. I really wanted to get a pair of Freeride, but due to the fact that they were out of stock in my size I decided to go with the Vector pant instead of waiting another year for the pants I wanted. After only one ride I am not disappointed at all. They have a great feel to them and do an amazing job at blocking the wind, keeping me dry, and maintaining body temp. I don’t know how they do it but I have had many outfits and all made out of different material, but none perform as well as Gore-Tex. It blocks everything from coming in and at the same time it is breathable. A lot of my other gear in the past has done a great job at blocking wind and water, but hasn’t allowed my body to breath through it and in the end I’m sweating so bad that I’m wet and having the same issues as before. But with these pants I didn’t have that problem. They’re warm enough to wear shorts underneath that allow even more comfort and so breathable that I don’t have the issue of sweating. Well, here are my thoughts on the Vector pant. Overall, I think it is a great pant that outperforms anything I’ve ever used. I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a pair of pants that they won’t be disappointed in. sled24_7Quote

Definitely agree, once you wear them your sold. They are by far the most comfortable pair of riding pants I’ve had. As a side not they are definitely durable as well. One thing I learned from Klim the other day was it is important to wash our Gore-tex pants and jackets often. The coating that keeps them water proof needs the wash, other wise it just fades away. Use cold to warm water cycle and dry with warm heat. live4snowQuote

ya I was surprised myself. when I dropped mine off to have the zipper fixed she asked how many times or how often I wash them. I told her never. Thought that washing would destroy the water proof capabilities. That’s when she informed me that it was just the opposite. She also said that most people don’t know that. But the way the Gore-tex works the washing process will restore the water proofing. live4snowQuote

That’s definitely a good thing to know. I’ll have to see if I can find my tag and see if it mentions anything about that sled24_7Quote
